Augustine has the distinction of being the oldest nylon string manufacturer in the business and were the favored string of Andres Segovia. Augustine has three series of strings (Classic, Imperial and Regal). Each series uses the same bass strings which are available in three tensions (Blue - high, Red - medium, and Black S.P. - low). Gold basses (medium tension only) are also available.
