I play an acoustic archtop with a floating pickup and these strings give the best overall balance of acoustic and electric sound out of any I've tried. The 12-54 set has plenty of tension to drive the top and these strings sound every bit as good as standard bronze sets, but will go much longer without tarnishing. The electric sound is balanced across the set, which is great because my pickup does not have adjustable pole pieces. These sound good enough that I would consider using these on fully acoustic or fully electric guitars. They have a unique slick texture to them.
