Romantic (Ambra 800)

Until the middle of the 20th century the only available strings for guitar were plain gut for the trebles and wound on silk core for the basses. Their acoustical performance was quite different from that of modern strings. Paying close attention to this detail, Aquila Corde Armoniche has designed a string which closely resembles the characteristics of strings of the 19th century using contemporary technology. The Aquila Romantic Guitar set features rectified Nylgut trebles, silver wound on silk core basses. *Designed for 19th Century instruments (Staufer, Lacôte, Panormo, etc.) with shorter scale length than modern classical guitars.
