The Aquila Alabastro set of classical guitar strings features smooth white trebles made of Nylgut "synthetic gut." The trebles feature a smooth texture (not rectified) and are very bright and responsive, similar to a carbon treble. Nylgut is a unique material and Aquila Corde Armoniche is the only manufacturer to use this material. The basses feature silver-plated copper spun over a Nylgut multifilament core which allows for stable intonation and greater durability.
