Made of higher density material, these strings are thinner than standard nylon, and consequently, are brighter. They are particularly effective on older guitars originally designed for gut, and are also popular with players who wish to maximize the brilliance of their instrument for better projection. Available only in one tension. I recommend pairing Carbon Trebles with Hannabach 728 basses or Savarez Corum basses. But other basses may work equally as well.
