All Shipments:

ALL Next/2nd Day shipping options received by 1:30 pm Monday-Friday always ship that day.

Occasionally UPS or FedEx may be used for larger, heavier orders. UPS services do not automatically include Saturday Delivery but can be purchased here at an additional charge. This is not a Strings By Mail charge, but a UPS charge.

While Strings By Mail does not guarantee any delivery at a specific time, location, or date, we do offer UPS and FedEx options with guaranteed timelines. Additionally USPS is extremely reliable.

Strings By Mail quickly and efficiently makes sure each order is delivered to the chosen shipping agency. We are not able to control what happens to packages once they are in the shipping system, however we will always strive to be of assistance to the best of our ability.

Shipping Insurance is a benefit available during checkout. All shipments over $400.00 product value will automatically receive and be charged for shipping insurance.

Domestic Shipping:

As part of Strings By Mail's policy of offering value to it's customers, an Economy Shipping option of just $3.99 is offered for domestic shipping for any size order. Additional prioritized, faster shipping options are offered during the checkout process.

Domestic orders shipped via the Economy Shipping option will typically be delivered via US Postal Service First Class mail. Delivery time for First Class mail is an average of 1 to 5 business days. Delivery Confirmation and Tracking services are used on all domestic USPS shipments.

International Shipping:

International orders are charged by weight and destination. Many shipping options are offered during the checkout process. International orders sent International Priority Airmail (IPA) include a Customs ID number and web link for basic tracking purposes. IPA packages are handled as Priority Mail in the USA and handled as First Class Mail or Priority Mail based on the destination country. International Express and Priority do include tracking numbers for complete tracking information and provide quicker travel.

Customs Duties or other Taxes levied at the destination address are not included in the shipping charges and are the sole responsibility of the customer. We cannot change the amount of invoices, send from an individual, or send as gifts or samples. If order values exceed limits for untaxed shipments, recipients may be subject to import duties.

Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express are accepted for online, faxed, phone or mail orders as well as gift credit cards.

Credit cards are automatically verified when the order is submitted. The billing address given in the online order form must match the card holder's billing address. Gift credit cards must have your address matched - please call the number on the back to apply your address before online purchases. Alternate ship-to addresses are allowed. Large orders may require matching bill-to/ship-to addresses. To help avoid delays, please be sure that your billing information is correct when you enter it. You can also use PayPal to process you credit card.

Money Orders and Personal Checks are also accepted for domestic mail orders (please allow 2-3 business days for personal checks to clear).

Western Union payments are accepted. Please follow the instructions during checkout for complete details.

School Purchase Order payments are another option for domestic shipments only. Please reference your PO number in the comment box during checkout. You can also fax the PO to us at 231-223-7798.

Gift Certificates may be used as well. They can be purchased here and can be sent in any amount to any valid email via "My Account" located above (when logged in) on the SBM site. To use during checkout, there is a Gift Certificate option on the payment page.
