Best capo, and I own several

SBM is a great place for guitarists. Wide range of products and price levels. I shop here often and the service is 2nd to none, my orders are always processed and shipped quickly. The G7th classical capo is pricey but you really do get what you pay for. It is practically idiot proof and will not damage your guitar. There is plenty of protective material wherever it touches the neck, front or back. The clutch mechanism is ingenious and so far works perfectly in both the engagement and release of the capo. I do note, however, that straight or flat capos for a classical fingerboard require plenty of pressure to seat the D string properly, and the G7th is no exception. A very firm squeeze is needed. That being said, it does work as advertised, and the low profile black chrome looks good and unobtrusive on an ebony fretboard. As a player you will hardly know it is there. IMHO this is the only capo you will ever need. I would get another one in a heartbeat if ever it was lost.

staying in tune

I thought this item was a bit pricey at first, but I committed to buying it. Money well spent. No tightening screws. Initially it's simplicity felt awkward. You are basically squeezing the capo onto the neck. I did not expect it to be as secure as it was. Even better, the intonation is spot on, no open string buzz. The funnest part is taking the capo off, it happens so fast. I would suggest installing a tracking chip so as to never loose this little beaut.
