Oboe Sheet Music
(sorted by Name)

For some reason, the oboe is often associated with ducks.

Most famously, Prokofiev used an oboe to represent the duck in Peter and the Wolf. And in Tony Kushner's play Angels in America, which won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Tony Award for Best Play, the oboe's sound is described as like "that of a duck if the duck were a songbird."

Whether or not you consider the association with ducks a compliment, numerous classical and contemporary composers have written works for oboe, often in ensembles with other instruments.
