La Bella Double Ball Steinberger Electric Bass Strings
(sorted by Most popular)

There’s no truth to the rumor that Steinberger electric basses and guitars were designed by the horseman from Sleepy Hollow.

Ned Steinberger developed these striking headless instruments in the 80s, making them from graphite and carbon fiber for lighter weight and better balance. The minimalist design found the tuners on a tailpiece mounted on the front of the instrument.

They need a special string, and these La Bella strings have balls at both ends. La Bella's Double Ball Steinberger electric bass strings were developed by La Bella president Richard Mari Cocco, Jr. along with Ned Steinberger. They are designed to fit Steinberger guitars and licensed Steinberger copies.
