La Bella CB40-BE Contrabass Guitar Strings 75cm Scale Ball End

I bought these strings to replace the stock strings on an Ibanez PNB parlor bass. Sound much better! These are a great upgrade to the bass!

Very impressed with the strings themselves- the stock ones were not up to scratch. Tension is good and for these baby basses, it seems the natural choice. Moreover, the speed and care with which I received my strings was stellar and feels like musicians working for musicians. I would happily order from them again. Thanks!

This was my second set of these string for my Ibanez parlor bass. The E string came unwrapped and essentially rendered it useless after few weeks. Now I’m stuck buying a new set! However, I’d still buy these as they way outlasted any other string and their tone and feel are outmatched.

The E string that came in the package appears to be defective: Way too short - wouldn't even fit on a 30 inch scale bass.
See attached pic: The old E string remains in place, with the new defective one loose - the other strings in the package are on the bass - fit with plenty of room to spare.

These were recommended for an Ibanez HBN. (Like the Taylor and Guild Mini Basses with the ultra short scale, 22 or so inches)
over the stock D’Addario. Nice strings but don’t find them better than the D’Addario as they don’t really give this bass a feeling of more tension.
