Savarez New Cristal 1,2 Alliance 3rd Guitar Strings, NT Treble Set

Recently acquired a Cordoba Fusion Orchestra CE, which comes from the factory with Savarez Corum Alliance High Tension 500AJ string set. For the first string change I wanted to try out some normal tension strings and decided to try the custom combo of Savarez Cantiga Bass Set with Savarez 510MR New Cristal/Alliance Treble Set. The treble set contains the Alliance “G’ and Corum “B” and “E”.

I am not a classical guitarist, but long time finger-picking steel string player. For the music I play the Corum trebles seems a bit flat or less bright than the Alliance trebles- not necessarily a good or bad thing, but less desirable for my style. Some of this may just be the difference between normal vs. high tension. Have had these on for a little over a week and the required about 4-5 to stretch out completely.
