The Cantiga basses on this set really make this guitar sing, and the carbon G string is a perfect balancer to brighten the melancholy tones of the mahogany. This set has also maintained its sound quality longer than other sets I've tried. Lastly, though the tension is medium, I would say it's more of a medium-high tension, which again complements the mahogany and feels really great to play.

I like the feel and deep bass sound of the E and A strings. The light gauge is better if you want to play blues / jazz, because anything above 11's becomes difficult to bend.

7th/8th strings present a round bass tone. Love the trebles' diameter/intonation.

First, I like that D?Addario does so many good things for music. Then, I like the silky sound of the trebles and the basses feel just right for me. And I find the lower normal tension strings allow the guitar to have great balance.

Brilliant, crystal clear, loud trebles; warm, round, deep basses.
