I like the balance of the two carbon and one nylon treble, and the basses have a nice round sound and good sustain.

Beautiful balance, bright highs not as harsh or metallic as carbon and lovely bass response. Good intonation across strings.

The strings I?m playing are a custom set from Augustine, based off of their Spectra Heavy Specs. They're great for picking up some slack on the tension to help with our Eb tuning, while still bending really well but not too far. I just wanted a heavier low E and G string than you would get in a typical pack of 12 gauges, plus they sound great and stay bright for their entire life.

These Martin Marquis are perfect because they eliminate the typical 12 string jangliness. The gauging is perfect for standard tuning but they also work well with alternate tunings,

I have tried a few different sets and have found that these strings bring out nice tone over the whole register. I like the feel of the rectified strings under my fingers, have always been consistent.

I chose these to play the lower part of Bach Two-Part Inventions for two guitars. I was astonished to find out that such a product even existed. They work very well, sound great, and needed no setup adjustments. This saved me from buying a baritone guitar!
