The warm basses and bright trebles are a good fit for this guitar.

I use this mixed set on the Traugott and it's pretty specific for that guitar and the tunings that I use on it. I do that because, a) the guitar seems to realize its full sound potential that way; I think the combination of the particularly dense Brazilian rosewood Jeff Traugott uses and something about the bracing. And, b) I use that guitar for tunings with less tension (DADEAD, CGDGAD, DGDGAD, DADGAD) and the heavier gauges on strings 1-3 and 6 compensate for the lowered tension. This C3 might be useful to those using those kinds of tunings, especially with very dense woods or guitars that need a little extra push to get the top going.?

Augustine for its warmth and price. Aranjuez concert silver 400 basses because they are focused yet full sounding. Savarez New Cristal because they are a good balance between sounding brilliant and warm.

Best combination for the guitars i build as I'm a luthier. They have great projection, both bass and treble and the attack is soft to fingers.

Recommended by Matt at SBM. They produce a warm, mellow tone similar to my fanned braced guitars, while preserving the volume and sustain characteristic of lattice braced guitars.

Powerful, crystaline trebles that really hold up and sing out (I play in a 20+ member guitar orchestra). Very nice tone on bass strings, but I am addicted to the carbon trebles!
