Knobloch Actives 200ADN Nylon LT Classical Guitar Strings, Full Set

I found this set to be unbalanced (in comparison to the QZ Nylon pack), the bass are very aggressive and sharp and the trebles are very muted (also I found the trebles to feel much higher tension - legatos were difficult). The trebles also feel not so smooth - similar to rectified trebles. There are no colorful overtones to the trebles for nuance or dynamics. For my flamenco blanca the QZ nylons were a better fit.

I am only writing this to inform others that, to my hands, this set does not feel Low Tension. The strings themselves were okay. On my guitar, the trebles were average. The basses were very loud and punchy; quite good actually, but not my thing. The important note I want to make is that I felt the set being far higher than “Low” tension. I tried these after taking off some “Augustine Classic Black” (which are marked as Medium/Low tension), and these Knobloch felt distinctly higher in tension. The basses were much stiffer and difficult to tie onto the bridge (I do not use/trust the tie loops…), and the trebles cut into my left hand fingertips enough to cause some discomfort. I am not used to high tension strings because my personal no-nails playing style is not suited for them, so these were a miss for me. Again, I am not saying these strings are bad, just that they are not low tension. If they were not so expensive I probably would not have written this review, but I felt I should try and help anyone who is looking for low tension strings save some cash.

Haven't used them yet. I have been having problems with medium strings especially in bars. My teacher said I should try some low tension. We'll see
