Initially, I was worried that the double silver basses were going to overpower the trebles but they're great! They have more "boom" but they aren't necessarily louder than the trebles, at least on my Raimundo 146 which has a cedar top. The trebles are the sweetest I've tried so far; they're well-rounded with a sort of silky tone (I play with nails) and they have excellent response. I'm hoping that the double silver will help the basses last longer as all sets I've come across tend to have basses that wear out quickly. Overall, these are amazing strings.

I purchased MHT and SHT full sets but so far only used MHT basses, only. Great strings, durable, and great sounding. The only thing is that it took two weeks for them to stabilize the tuning. The SHT I haven't used, yet, but will as soon as my other guitar's string are worn out. I never use full sets of one manufacturer. But the best bases so far I use for my flamenco and non-flamencto guitars are:
- Knobloch MHT
- Tomatito NT and HT

So, the above ones are the only bass sets I use on all of my guitars (six of them).

Initially, I was very impressed with these strings, particularly for their clarity without losing warmth, but later I found that the second string, particularly open, was standing out from the others. It didn't have the same sound as the other trebles, so with regret I had to replace them with another make. Over the years, I have tried many different makes but had never encountered this before. I wrote to Knobloch about this strange anomaly but didn't receive the courtesy of an answer. If it was just a bad batch, they could have told me. Meanwhile, I am only able to recommend the basses of this set..
