Aquila Alabastro Normal Tension - Treble Set

Perhaps the most unique treble out there. They are similar to rectified nylons, but with superior tone. They have great projection and a beautiful timbre...warm and yet punchy. They are capable of a wide range of colors. With a slightly rough finish, they feel great on the left hand...easy to grab hold of. On the negative side, this same slightly rough feel creates a bit of string noise. On the right hand, the nails coming across them have a tendency to create a bit of sibilance. With old hands like mine, they can slow down fast arpeggios too because of the finish. Still, I just love their tone. They pair great with Savarez Corum basses.
