Powerful, long-lasting strings. Trebles are very full, somewhat thick sounding, but work well for instruments that require a strong fundamental in the trebles. Basses last a particularly long time and have good overtones, a strong fundamental, and are quite powerful. Overall, a powerful, somewhat dark sound with a lots of fundamental, good overtones, and good balance between bass and treble. Very expensive - that's the only downside.
