I have arthritis in my right wrist and the size and thickness of these picks make them very comfortable to hold. The stiffness and sharp point mean that I can pick lightly and still put enough energy into the string to get a good tone. The finish does wear after some hours of use, but the end can be resharpened with sandpaper and touched up with some urethane.
