Turned my fingers black after stringing my Martin. Don't think I will try these again.

These strings are very high quality-no doubt there. However, they underscore the importance of choosing strings that work with the wood combination of a particular guitar. Many friends have had great success with Newtones with cedar, engleman or euro spruce tops. With my adirondack top they sounded cold.
