These strings are VERY hard on the L.H. fingertips and even on the R.H. fingers. They are extremely durable and this includes the 4th string too - they DO last. The sound coming from these strings was very good. I normally play high tension but these strings were absolutely painful. I'll try the medium tension next time around.

Do not buy these strings if you are hoping to play on polished trebles. They are in fact scratchy, like Savarez's "rectified" trebles....
