I have used a Sabine Zoid Z-1000 clip-on tuner on a classical guitar for about a year. The tuner has worked well. However, the hinge on the clip which attaches the tuner to the headstock is fragile and has broken. The thickness of my headstock is 22 mm (0.866 in). I would not recommend this tuner for headstocks thicker than about 20 mm.
