well first of all, the best high e string I have found for my style of playing is the Daddario ej47 carbon. But they don't sell it as a single string and I really don't like the G in that set of trebles. I could probably live with the the b.

The Savarez high e (and maybe b) produce what I can only describe as the Spanish sound. Most brightness will be controllled by the condition of your nails.

But I think you may find a depth in these Savarez Alliance trebles that you may want to explore.
