I recently purchased this book, and I like it very much. I am an intermediate level classical guitar player. For quite a while, I have been looking for a book which combines an interesting repertoire with a sound technical/pedagogical component. This book, for me, seems to fit the bill. It contains some pieces with which I was already familar and dearly love(Frog Galliard (Dowland) and Las Folias Espagna (Giulani), for example). In addition, it contains a framework associated with each piece outlining the technical challenges addressed in the piece. I am very much looking forward to working on these pieces (with my teacher) over the next several months. I heartily recommend this book for anyone in a similar situation.
