West Texas Guitar Festival features two professional guitarists each year, plus hosts a "locals night" to highlight the existing guitar ensembles of the region. The festival concludes with a day-long series of masterclasses, rehearsals, workshops, recitals, and interviews with touring guitar artists and local guitar teachers. The final concert features a mass ensemble of all 150+ participants performing a guitar ensemble piece with the guest artists and teachers.
