Paul Martinez, Acordes Flamencos 500 Diagramas (spanish edition)
By: (2878) Jesús Alberto PortillaIt´s not a good flamenco chords book. I learn so much to view videos from youtube! So far I haven't managed to get a good book! -
D'Addario Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings EJ16-3D Light 3 SETS
By: Aaron CoxI've broken my share of high e's, but these strings have surpassed my expectations for sure. Probably the fastest I've seen to stretch out to full tone. They're holding tone, and it's only been a day or two. Extremely impressed. Rich, and crisp. Also, the Service! I will be recommending everyone I know to this site for strings. -
K & M Heli 2 Cork Acoustic Classical Guitar Stand 17580, 5 3/8in. Arm
By: John HollisterI like this stand. One shortcoming, though, is that the front two feet are not coated with the cork material. The hard black plastic tips are exposed and just waiting to ding your guitar if you aren't careful when placing it in the stand. -
Luthier Popular Supreme Set 20 MT Classical Guitar Strings, Full Set
By: Aref Bakhtiyariwow..what can one say..when I put them on...it sounded so alive...so loud...love them the best strings so far..very suitable for flamenco..but they seemed a bit more like medium to hard tension..comparing to hannabach, d'addario and la bella for its range.. -
La Bella 427 Pacesetter Elite MT Classical Guitar Strings, Full Set
By: Douglas SethI have tried almost every brand and tension of string for classical guitar. The La Bella 427 elite are absolutely the best sounding string for a traditional classical guitar sound. These are the original nylon strings from Du Pont with better intonation. The intonation is excellent on the "new and improved trebles". Don't be afraid of the light/low tension, your guitar will most certainly be more resonant and sweeter than with higher tensions. These feel somewhere between light and medium tension. Hard tension strings "choke" the top of the guitar. Contrary to popular belief, many concert players prefer lower tension strings and don't usually use high tension. Furthermore, lighter tension strings are easier on your hands and easier for left hand slurs etc... The basses are deep and resonant while the trebles are clear and sweet. There is little string noise from the basses and the trebles feel slick which enhances your playing experience. Not to mention, these are far more inexpensive than other strings and last twice as long. -
Knobloch Actives CX Carbon HT Classical Guitar Strings ADC 34.5, Full Set
By: ric escalanteThese strings have a nice clear sound, that would suit certain classical music very well. I tried these on my flamenco guitar and they lacked bass--for that I recommend the Hannabach customs. If your guitars bass is boomy or muddy these may work very well for you. -
La Bella 820 Elite Flamenco Guitar Strings (Red Trebles) MT, Full Set
By: Mark LynottI am playing for Flamenco dance classes and these strings sound great, with good volume and have long life! Intonation could be better on the "D", (just under 10% sharp at the 12th fret) but my guitar (Cordoba Solista Flamenca) was setup with Savarez Corum/Cristal High Tension. Otherwise, a great string set, at a very good price! -
D'Addario EJ43 Pro Arte LT Classical Guitar Strings, Full Set
By: Roselyn AndersonMy guitar is an older Alvarez 5006 and I love it. I wanted a string that would bring out the best of the guitar and not kill my finger tips. One review said these strings were easy on the fingers as well as the guitar because they're light tension. Let me say, I LOVE them! The sound is superb and if a string can be soft and still be stretched tight enough to have good sound, these are the ones. I hadn't played in a number of years, and my finger tips really didn't complain much, plus, as I said, the sound is superb! I will probably never use a different string. I even got a set for a friend and put on his guitar! -
Worth Ukulele Strings Clear Fluoro-Carbon 8-string Uke 63 inch *C8
By: William WhitakerI struggled with another brand's wound low G string and then replaced it with a Red series to see if that improved the sound. It didn't.
These Worth's are fantastic. They look good and have a beautiful clear bright sound.
If you play them with gusto the volume you can get out of a little uke is unbelievable.
They have settled in faster than other brands I have used. Always a bonus.
Thoroughly recommend them and would actually encourage replacing the standard supplied strings with these.
Cheers

Dogal Diamante Classical Guitar Strings Extra Strong NR127D, Full Set
By: Alexander MilovanovThese strings have a very beautiful, warm, and round tone. The overall balance of the set is outstanding. The diameter of these trebles is almost perfect and every string feels so great under the fingers. However, the disadvantage of this new nylon/carbon mix is that these trebles have a slightly slower response than of a traditional nylon or carbon string. In that respect, they are similar to Savarez "New Cristal" line. Also, these trebles tend to shred and do not keep the tuning well. They particularly needed a constant tuning adjustments, what was very disappointing in a concert situation. -
Knobloch Actives 500ADN Nylon HT Classical Guitar Strings, Full Set
By: Alexander MilovanovTrebles did not tune in high positions and the second string was awfully false. Basses had tarnished and died after eight hours of playing. In general, a very poor quality for such a high price! -
Aranjuez Classic Silver 300 MT Classical Guitar Strings, Full Set
By: Spyros GounaropoulosI prefer them from D' Addario J45's. They're more thick in feel and you can control them more easily than 45's. I like them very much... -
Luthier Concert Gold Set 40 MHT Classical Guitar Strings, Bass Set
By: Matthew MasailI have always liked the Luthier basses, they are profound and earthy.
these gold basses are the only gold basses that I have tried that I like (I've tried many, but not the very expensive ones).
they have depth, color and warmth like most gold basses, but what I like about them is that they have a brightness and liveliness that is much lacking in other gold bass strings I tried; not as bright as silverplated strings but bright and lively enough that they sound really good and not at all 'dead'.
the gauge and tension are good. they can be pushed quite hard. they have a more fundamental sound as opposed to a harmonically rich sound of silverplated basses.
bottom line, if you have a bright spruce top guitar, I highly recommend giving these a try. -

Rokkomann Guitar Guard, Static Cling Top Protector
By: (2878) Jesús Alberto PortillaGood product. however you have to make the cuts in circumference. -
Dogal Diamante Classical Guitar Strings Extra Strong NR127D, Full Set
By: Richard RobesonThis is a rare example of everything the manufacturer says being true: powerful, complex sound ("rich overtones and a strong fundamental") and outstanding sustain, that respond equally well across my guitars' full dynamic and tonal spectrum, whether the style is aggressive, flamenco-inspired figures, chunky jazz voicings or Towneresque techniques with extended chord-melody interactions built around one or more open strings. The maker is also correct about the exceptionally quick setup time. Even in the perpetually humid environment my guitars live in, the strings stabilize within a couple of hours rather than days (or weeks).
As a longtime SBM customer, I'm very glad that these strings are available here. Nothing else I've ever used -- which includes just about every brand out there -- even comes close. -
Hannabach Super Carbon Goldin Trebles MHT Guitar Strings, Treble Set
By: John RhodesI own a Miguel Rodriguez Guitar. Along with getting a new bridge and a Planet Waves sound hole insert, I have tried just about every major brand of strings that Strings by mail sells. For the basses I use the Galli genius strings, and I was satisfied with the sound except the high E. I was trying to find a B & E string combo that would project well. Give a clear and distinct tone with harmonics to match at the 5th,7th, and 12th frets while still having a warm timbre.
Well, These trebles have that. The harmonics at the 12th fret ring longer by almost double the time than any other string I have tested. (roughly 8-10 seconds with my guitar). Also, you can clearly hear the melody notes all the way up the neck with NO deadening of tone. You heard me right - NO deadening of tone!! I have yet to try the third string.(which I just ordered) But even so - the Galli Genius GR90 Carbon Hard string are my new primary set along with the E-1 & B-2 the Hannabach Super Carbon Trebles 725 - Medium High Tension.
With this set-up I have the clear, warm, distinct ringing sound that I am looking for with my all cedar guitar. -
Hannabach Goldin 725 MHT Classical Guitar Strings, Full Set
By: Dwayne JacobNice warm sound. Basses are clear and deep and not scratchy. Trebles are smooth and clear sound. Much better feel on the trebles than the Hannabach carbon trebles. The trebles are not very bright; more of a warm sound with the cedar top.
Strings are expensive and do not look like they will have a long life like the D'Addario EJ46. 4th strings can be a bit overpowering. However loving the strings at the moment. -
