- By: Sheldon ImperioUsed these strings for years. The trebles are nice and bright and will last very long. They are almost identical sounding to the 2001 LaBellas. The polished basses are decently bassy, but lack power and depth. Perhaps the polish makes them a bit life less. You'll definitely be able to find a better sounding bass. The trebles however are clear yellow, so they probably won't look so nice when paired with silver basses.
