Cavaquinho Strings
(sorted by Price (high))

The cavaquinho, a plucked member of the lute family that's midway between a guitar and a mandolin, originated in Portugal and variants spread to other countries, most notably Brazil.

We offer Portuguese cavaquinho strings, and its slightly larger Brazilian cousin, which is used in choros music, from manufacturers you trust like Aquila, D'Addario, and La Bella.

If you don't see the cavaquinho strings you want, you can get them fast with a Special Order. In most cases, we’ll add the strings to our regular stock to make your next order even easier.
