UPDATE: Unfortunately, Newtone acoustic guitar strings are no longer available to be sold in the United States.
We do have some remaining Heritage Singles available.
However, other manufacturers offer excellent handmade strings with similar characteristics. We recommend the following alternatives to Newtone's lines:

Newtone Strings was founded in 1985 by Malcolm Newton, who started out in life as a British coal miner and never learned to play an instrument. He did, however, learn to make excellent acoustic guitar strings by hand, a tradition that others continue today.

These boutique strings are known for their exceptional tone and long life. Newtone makes many using a round core wire instead of the hex wire that's more common, and the added core flexibility adds warmth to the tone.
