Laud Strings

The laud gained increased recognition when the Cuban virtuoso Barbarito Torres played it with the popular Buena Vista Social Club.

We offer laud strings for the 12-string Cuban instrument (the Philippine version has 14 strings). They're made by La Bella, a company with a rich tradition of creating great strings for Latin instruments.

If you don't see the laud strings you want, you can get them fast with a Special Order. In most cases, we’ll add the strings to our regular stock to make your next order even easier.
