Amanda Aldridge Solo Classical Guitar Sheet Music

A first of ethnic women in the arts, Amanda Aldridge was an African british singer, teacher and composer born into a family of musical and theatrical talent: her sister was a singer, her brothers were pianists, and her father was a known Shakespearan actor. Amanda herself mostly wrote romantic, parlor songs and studied at the Royal College of Music. She had laryngitis which led to her career of singing to come to a halt, but that did not stop her from teaching and inspiring many. She wrote over thirty songs in her lifetime and discrete wrote many poems on the side.
