Guitarist and composer Ermanno Brignolo embraces a wide variety of styles, from classical music to jazz and pop. That’s reflected in his performances on stage and recordings, whether solo, duo or ensemble. The native of Italy is now based in Australia.

Brignolo’s other interests are just as broad and eclectic. He is a member of the scientific committee for the International Guitar Convention of Alessandria, and boasts a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He not only writes music, he writes about music as a critic for the Italian guitar magazine Seicorde.

His music for solo guitar here has been arranged by fellow guitar maestro Cristiano Porqueddu, who like Brignolo is an active performer and composer.
