Cyro Delvizio Classical Solo Guitar Sheet Music
(sorted by Price (low))

Featuring "Four Sinister Studies for solo guitar." From the Latin for left, sinister’s earliest uses in English, dating from the 14th century, pertain to some measure of evil, forboding, or malevolence. This music isn’t evil, however, though you do have to be somewhat adroit* to play it.

Delvizio has performed in all 27 states in his native Brazil, part of his mission to spread Brazilian classical music to audiences far and wide. He also performed at the prestigious Guitar Foundation of America International Convention in2016, where he also conducted classes. He’s been a soloist with symphonic ensembles, and as a composer he won the "Composition contest of UNIRIO" in 2008, and has had works performed in Brazil, the U.S., Portugal, Finland, Japan and France. His music isn’t relegated to guitar, as the Forest Scene suite for recorder orchestra and Divagações Intervalares for piano and string orchestra demonstrate. Delvizio’s writings include a dissertation which won the "FUNARTE Prize of Music Critic Production 2013" and his book Agustín Barrios in Dreamland: the Amazing Journey of a Paraguayan Guitarist Across Brazil is available in Portuguese and English.

*From French via Latin for right. Which makes sense, since you need to use both the right and left hands to play it.
