Suzuki Method Violin Parts - Sheet Music
The videos are all over the Internet: tiny children, either alone or in groups, playing the violin with skill and poise seemingly far beyond their years. They've learned through the Suzuki Method, a type of music instruction developed by Shinichi Suzuki, himself a violinst. It's based on a simple yet powerful idea: every child has unlimited learning potential.
The 10 parts books in the Suzuki Violin School start with Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and conclude with two Mozart violin concertos. In between, they help children learn through music ranging from folk tunes to works by composers such as Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms. You won't find any dreary drills in these books.
Some of them are available with CDs of professional violinists playing the music (the CDs are also available separately), and piano accompaniments for each book, either as sheet music or recordings, are also available.
