François de Fossa was a guitarist and composer, and an officer in the French army. He travelled to Mexico in the 1790s. He translated Aguado’s method into French and arranged for its publication in Paris. We present here an edition of de Fossa's Recuerdo, TECLA X 10251, dedicated to Aguado.
