These new Tecla Sor items include the Supplement 2025 to the New Complete Works for Guitar of Sor in eleven volumes (TECLA 1200) which will be of interest to any person or any library that already owns a set of those New Complete Works for Guitar of Sor, thus bringing their set up to date.

Also new to Tecla in Strings by Mail is Brian Jeffery’s edition of the 32 piano sonatas of Beethoven in fine facsimiles of the first editions, all eminently playable by pianists – indeed highly recommended as playable editions for reasons set out on that page.

The Supplement 2025 includes the Theme and Variations (TECLA 348), so if you buy the Supplement 2025 you do not need to also buy TECLA 348.

Also new from Tecla is Brian Jeffery’s new short book Sor’s Grand Solo, which is about the history of the well-known guitar work by Sor, which solves a mystery about the piece and includes suggestions about which of the three principal versions of the piece you might like to play, and why. It is available in two versions: TECLA 1220 which is published in four sections, and TECLA 1226 which has the same contents but is all in one book.
