Pyramid Violin Strings
(sorted by SBM sort)

The violin dates back to the 16th century. Pyramid isn’t quite that old, but by 1850 Anton Osmanek had modified his business in Schönbach in what is now Austria, morphing from weaving to string manufacturing.

Fast forward 200-plus years and the company, now located in Bubenreuth in Germany, is still well-known for its violin strings, including aluminum, gold and syntha-core violin strings. Fun fact: Bubenreuth is a hub for string and instrument manufacturers, including Hofner, producer of Sir Paul’s favored basses.
