GHS Signature Series Electric Guitar Strings
(sorted by Name)

Want to play the same strings as electric guitar gods like Dave Mustaine, David Gilmour, Pat Martino, and Eric Johnson? You can with GHS Signature Series electric guitar strings, which are made to the guitarists' specifications.

Dave Mustaine strings are favorites of heavy metal players, no surprise given his history with bands like Metallica and Megadeath. They're made of premium core wire wrapped with a filament grade alloy.

David Gilmour strings are custom GHS Boomers sets that are made for his Fender Stratocasters and Gibson Les Pauls. The former Pink Floyd guitarist uses gauges 10, 12, 16, 28, 38, and 48 on his Fender Stratocaster, and gauges 10.5, 13, 17, 30, 40, and 50 on his Gibson Les Paul.

Eric Johnson strings are two different sets of Nickel Rockers that Eric uses depending on his preference of string tension and tone. In general, the medium weight set is for shorter scale guitars and the light set is for his longer scale guitars.

Pat Martino strings are flatwound strings that utilize custom gauges: 15-52 in the light set and 16-56 in the medium set.
