In 1952, he published First Lessons for the Classic Guitar, noted as the first American guitar method since 1924. Now Editions Orphée presents a new edition of the Richard Pick School of Guitar method. Rather than simply another traditional Method & Etudes book, Classical Guitar Method by Richard Pick gives students and teachers practical means to understand guitar: from an overview of the challenges in guitar pedagogy in Book I to the complex scales of the sharp and flat keys in Books II and III respectively.
