Love these strings

I've had my 10 string for a couple of years and have used Romantic tuning up to now. I wanted to try the Yepes tuning, so bought this inexpensive set. They are a great match for my spruce top Bartolex. Tension is comparable to the D'Addario normal, strings are bright (but not too bright) and clear, finger noise on the basses is fairly low. Previously I had been combining different trebles, basses, and extended range strings at higher cost.

I also found I prefer this tuning to Romantic. I notice the increased resonance, but it's not so overpowering as to require too much muting. I can fret down to the 7th string, so I can get the low C and D and keep most of the range I had with Romantic tuning. So I think I'll be sticking with these for a while.
