Rotosound Swing Bass 66 Electric Bass Strings

Designed by an ox, played by the GOAT. Rotosound first introduced this type of string in 1962. In 1966, John Entwistle tried them but was unhappy with the E and A strings. He and company founder James How worked to thicken the core of the strings and they became not only Ox’s favorite, but those of many rockers for their bright, punchy sound. Other adherents have included Mo Foster, Geddy Lee, Billy Sheehan, Chris Squire and the self-described World’s Greatest Bassist, Jaco Pastorius. And who are we to argue with the Greatest Of All Time?
