GHS TM1500 Nickel Wrap Electric Guitar Strings with Wound 3rd 13-56

Strings feel good and have a nice clear sound. I've been using. D'Addario Half Rounds on my arch top guitar forever, . 013 the gauge These GHS strings sound great, but don't have the smooth feel that the Half Rounds do. The Rockers have less string squeaky noise, then round wounds, but more noise than the Half Rounds. All and all, the GHS strings have great tone.

These seem to have a little more tension and stability than other brands and even the GHS rockers. The 13s are playing on the left hand while still tight enough for fast alternate picking in low tunings on a 24. 75” guitar. The wrap wire is real smooth and quiet to boot.

These pure nickle deliver a great bluesy southern rock sound. I have them on my slide guitars playing in open D and G. Nickle strings tend to be a bit dirty on my hands but that's a small trade off for such a great tone.
