These have been my favorites for decades!
Review by Dave L. on 19 Nov 2024 review stating These have been my favorites for decades! PF 150s: I discovered these when I owned a music store, The Banjo Emporium, and tried every string on the market. These best matched my attack, instrument and style, Technically, they are really a medium-light and have just enough heft to not sound thin like a . 09 set will. The Real difference is that Phosphorus Bronze 4th string; it gives a Strong Warm sound that’s totally unique. The Bad News is that they go dead quicker than steel wound strings. When I was performing, I always had an extra dozen. 22 PBS and would change 2 before changing the rest of the set, but they’ll stay on my Deering Ivanhoe until I find something better. 🪕
