Disappointed
Review by John S. on 17 Feb 2026 review stating Disappointed I have used D'Andrea picks for many years. They have been my go-to favorite. Once I discovered them I purchased them in bulk and haven't needed to buy more until recently. I am coming to the end of my stash and looked to order another quantity. I discovered that the company no longer polishes the picks. They now have a matte finish and the picks no longer produce the warm sound that made me love them. I was told that polishing the picks resulted in warpage and that is why they changed their manufacturing process. As I mentioned already, I have used the picks for years and never once had one of their picks warp. Be that as it may, warping is certainly a real problem. It is unfortunate, but I cannot use the unpolished picks, which produce a harsher sound. Others may still enjoy them, but I do not.
