Nylgut is a new formulation of polymerized plastic with additives patented by Aquila and has the closest sound to gut strings. These sets now uses the Red Series Strings for the 4th String! Please stretch the string appropriately while replacing and tuning to avoid breakage. The "Classical" set is shorter (about 41") and lighter than the "Minstrel" set.
