La Bella 17 CLASSIC Nylon & Silver-Plated Classical Banjo Strings

Just a couple days in but these have a good feel
And they sound good
The resonase of the strings seems a bit shorter than the Aquila equivalent
But Aquilas seem to have their own limitations

Good strings for my fretless WV style mountain banjo

I like that these are more “floppy” the feel of strings is a preference. I use these strings plus the custom Labella set that Joel Hooks sells and they’re great strings I use them on all my antique banjos. Get a Joel hooks bridge too it’ll come to life

These just feel elegant on the fingers, and the sound is incredible. It's like getting a new instrument.

Thin tone, loose feel on the strings.

I much prefer the old Chris Sands strings or the new Aquila Classic 5 B's.
