La Bella Rectified Nylon .023, Single String

Very pleased to find a source for individual nylon strings (especially oddball) for classic banjo, as complete sets are not well gauged for some of the older instruments.
I was also pleasantly surprised when I realized the supplier was a "familiar" from my home town!

I've had trouble with other strings, which break while even tuning the lute. La Bella seem to be much more resilient. It doesn't matter how much better another string might sound, if you cannot even set it up without it breaking.
