Tenor Ukulele Strings

Tenor Ukulele Strings were introduced shortly after the 1920's and produce deeper bass tones with more volume than it's smaller family members. Common tuning for tenor ukes are G-C-E-A with options for 'Low G' and 'High G'. Low G uses a thicker wound string tuned down an octave compared to the plain High G. Alternate tunings consist of D-G-B-E as well as up a whole step up to A-D-F#-B.

The Tenor Ukulele is typically 26 inches long. The scale length, which is the measurement from nut to saddle, is generally 17 inches with between 17 - 19 frets.

Strings By Mail carries many strings for tenor ukuleles from around the world. Most strings are ready to ship, usually same day.
