An addendum to the first review

These are great strings, once you get them on, but they are so smooth that they may slip out of the
winding posts, unless one takes special care to avoid this. They are thicker than most strings, so
putting them through the hole in the binding post twice won't work on most ukes, and the usual
"one wrap over, one under" the free end may not suffice. If you are sure to make a knot of some sort on the binding post end, you will then be treated to exceptional tone.

Oh my !

I tried a set of these mainly because I'd never heard of them and liked the label.
Put them on a The Rebel Invictus, for which I had never been able to find quite the right strings
I'd tried all of my favorites- Aquila Reds and Sugars, Uke Logic, Living Waters, Fremont Blacks, but never thought I was getting all of the tone the instrument could provide. Phillipe Bosett's or D'Addarrio titaniums were getting there, but these Nicolas are just the cat's jammies for this uke, Great volume, rich, even tone across the strings, a smooth feel , and good tuning stability. Can't wait to try them on some other ukes!
