Spiros Exaras's first chorinhos uses the highly unusual combination of trombone and guitar. Chorinho Do Sol was composed for Achilles Liarmakpoulos chorinho CD "Trombone Atrevido". A fascination with Achilles sound and technique inspired this piece, which is the only original composition on that album. Its upbeat light Latin A section is beautifully relieved by a gently lilting ballad B section.
